Haircut...again...

Yeah...I wanted my haircut for my birthday, but can't get to a salon---snow and sitting issues. So, I just did it myself...let me know what you think.

The back looks a bit shaggy in the picture---doesn't seem that way in the mirrors...I may touch that up a bit. But I'm pretty happy.

MORE SNOW!!

As many of us well know---the weather has been crazy! Here's a couple fun pics from last week's 2 ft in 2 days.

My Grades are in for Fall 2008...

With the Lord's miraculous blessings, I pulled a 3.78 (17 credits). I made the Dean's List (>3.5)!! My overall GPA, including my previous degree, is 3.6 (101 credits). I hope I can just keep the grades steady as I still have a ways to go.

Anyway, just thought I'd share the good news with everyone. It was a great semester and we're hoping for another one Winter 2009 with another 17 credits. We just keep praying for health, strength and safety.

Love to all!

Just a Great Ending to a Crhairzy Day!

There's just something about Christmas lights....stockings are fun too!

After getting our hair under control we decided to decorate our house together...I had put it off because of complications from figuring out how to use our 2 ton garland.
I think it works. We even put our star up and our little olive wood nativity right under it.

(My little camera isn't the best, so pick your favorite--over exposed, blurry, or my favorite--both!)
The kids were SO excited about the decorations and ran down early this morning to turn them on---Merry Christmas Mom! =0) I just love my kids so much, they are the bright stars and sunshine of my life.
We also had just an amazing sunset that I got some pictures of---just beautiful.

Just your average hairventful morning...

Well, my Uncle Myron got his Christmas wish...

So...while I was cleaning the kitchen, my darling daughters decided to follow mommy's example and trim their hair after I did it yesterday. Yeah, just in time for Christmas! Hark! The Hairless Angels Sing--

Here is Grace's impression of a Kung Fu Panda Ninja Warrior...definitely scary

The greatest part is that June is depressed because her hair is not as short as Grace's. She explains to me that she wants it shorter and lifts up her bangs to the roots.

She'll have to learn to live with disappointment--unless she decides to take scissors into her own hands.

Thanksgiving in the Greater Seattle Area...

I hope everyone had a wonderful time last week!

It was such a treat to go out to Seattle and visit with the Bates' Family for Thanksgiving! There were a few mishaps, but what holiday doesn't come with a few of those anyhow? Here are just a few snapshots of our fun over there.

Wouldn't you know it, once again, I enjoyed the family SO much I didn't take any shots of the dinner or the rest of the family on Thanksgiving Day! I hate that...but...I guess it's okay--sweet memories of family can be taken anywhere! I just keep telling myself that!

I also included our gingerbread house finale--the girls decorated the whole thing--pretty dang cute!
