Winter Quarter....I made it!!

I'm so glad last quarter is OVER!!!!! The most difficult quarter yet for a multitude of reasons. I know that Dad B would be proud! ='0) It was a miracle that I still pulled above 3.5 in my classes, even after missing 2 1/2 weeks of school. Such a blessing!

Spring 10, my last quarter and I'll be a graduate of EWU!! I can't believe it! My kids have been amazing and grown so much over the last two years. I truly hope we can stay and continue on in the master's program here, if only to linger in Cheney a bit longer.

dad....

Many of you have heard that my stepfather (since I was 4) was killed in a car accident Monday February 15, 2010 at about 5:30pm. Dad had come to visit us for the weekend in Cheney. He had just left our house about 5:00pm. Multiple news stations that covered the accident on the radio, TV and internet. (read here) The shock and tragedy of his passing has been acute in every possible way. We love him and miss him so much.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for our family, extended family and especially for the grandchildren.
Below are some of the pictures I've taken over the last two days. Some are difficult to see. My hope is that for those who need to see, they have that opportunity. (((HUGS))) ='0l

Apparently I have a Blog....

So, I'm withdrawing a bit offline, but felt that as a token of my desire to stay connected to family and close friends----I will be attempting to throw up a blog post once a month =0)

January

Has been just a tad busier than any other quarter thus far. Certainly a challenge to say the least. It has also inspired me in a few new areas and I'm excited to grow in uncharted directions this year, while continuing to grow in many familiar paths as well.

Grace and June are just as fun as can be. They adore their kindergarten teacher and their speech/learning teachers too! We're working on losing more teeth. I'm sure the top two will be out before we know it! They enjoy playing pretend, making up stories and songs, and drawing pictures for their stories. They love going to church and primary. Both girls are wonderful big sisters to each other and their little brother. June is coming into her own and Grace is easing up a little. They are two of a kind!!

Peter is realizing more and more how powerful talking can be. He discovered a while ago that changing the volume and tone in his voice gets mommy's attention really quick! He is Mr. Helpful all the time around the house, thoughtful and sweet. His laugh is boisterous and infectious. He is becoming more daring and creative in his play.

I'm so happy and so grateful to be in this stage of our lives. SO MUCH GROWTH and development for all of us on so many levels. The Lord has truly kept us in His best care and we love Him with all of our hearts!

Chat with ya'll sooner than later....
